Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a career in patient care. We provide on-the-job training and prior receptionist or optometric technician experience is not required. Our office is small but fast paced. We are looking for a candidate who is customer service oriented, performs well under pressure, and takes pride in their work ethic. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments Checking patients in and out, and collecting payments Performing simple pre-examination testing Assisting patients with contact lens insertion, removal, care, and replacement Authorizing and filing insurance claims Restocking contact lenses and maintaining a hygienic work environment Working closely with the doctor and optical staff •
