Part-time, 20-30 hours per week, with potential opportunity to transition to full-time
Hours:
Monday-Friday during the week, with required Saturday hours from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM Job Description We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Optometry Lab Tech to join our team. This position is responsible for in-office optical lab work, ensuring eyewear is completed accurately and efficiently, as well as assisting patients with eyewear adjustments and repairs. Previous optical lab experience is a plus but not required . We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Responsibilities Edge all optical jobs in the office. Inspect lab jobs to ensure accuracy and quality before dispensing. Perform adjustments and repairs for patients' eyewear. Price frames accurately. Keep frame boards organized, clean, and properly maintained. Keep the optical lab clean, organized, and well maintained. Ensure lab equipment and work areas are kept neat and ready for daily use. Assist with providing a positive and professional experience for patients. Complete work accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Qualifications Optical or lab experience is a plus, but not required . Willingness to learn optical lab procedures and equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Dependable and responsible. Good organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and customer-service skills. Flexible availability and willingness to work when needed. Must be available Saturdays from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM. Schedule & Opportunity This is a part-time position offering approximately 20-30 hours per week , with the opportunity to transition to full-time hours over time for the right candidate. Hours will be scheduled Monday through Friday during the week, with Saturday availability required from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM . Flexibility in scheduling and availability when needed is important for this position.
