Our doctors & managers believe in a servant-leadership style approach where we value each other's skills. We are looking for a talented optometric technician to join our team. Experience is not necessary and training will be provided! Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Experience working in a healthcare setting or with patients Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Lives within a commutable distance of 30 minutes from the office Bonus Experience as a Technician or in Optometry Familiarity with medical terminology and knowledge of eye anatomy
Responsibilities:
Pre-testing to assist in accurate vision assessments. Scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and billing patients. Dispense contact lenses and eyeglasses, offering guidance and recommendations. Perform retinal image scans to aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of ocular conditions. Utilize a tonometer to check eye pressure, contributing to comprehensive eye health assessments.
