We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Optometric Technician to assist with patient care, perform preliminary testing and support our doctor and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for college students, recent high school graduates, or anyone interested in gaining valuable healthcare and medical assistant experience. We are extremely accommodating to class schedules and willing to train the right candidate. Duties:

• Conduct preliminary testing ;including gathering patient medical and ocular history.
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits
• Educate patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care techniques
• Perform diagnostic tests such as visual field testing, retinal imaging, and tonometry
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow at the front desk when needed
• Provide support during minor procedures
