We are looking for a dependable, personable, and motivated Part-Time Optometric Technician to join our small team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, is comfortable learning multiple aspects of a medical office, and is looking for a consistent part-time role with the possibility of additional hours over time. Schedule Saturday availability is required for this position. The position will initially be approximately 1-2 days per week , with Saturdays being the primary and most important scheduled day. Additional weekday shifts may be available depending on clinic needs, employee availability, vacation coverage, and future growth of the practice. There may also be opportunities for the position to expand over time for the right person. Our clinic is currently open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Position Responsibilities The primary role will be working as an optometric technician and assisting the doctor with patient care.

Responsibilities may include:

Performing patient pre-testing and preliminary examination procedures Obtaining patient history and documenting information accurately Performing diagnostic testing such as OCT imaging and other in-office testing Assisting with contact lens-related visits and procedures Preparing examination rooms and maintaining clinical equipment Helping maintain smooth patient flow throughout the office Providing friendly and professional patient care Assisting with general office organization and clinical tasks Because we are a small practice, our team members are cross-trained in multiple areas of the office .
