Job Description
EyeCare of Vermont is seeking applicants for a hybrid Receptionist/Optometric Technician position. This is intended to be a flexible position and will include working in multiple departments as needed. Reception duties include checking patients in/out, answering phones, preparing insurance authorizations, handling medical documentation, and assisting the Optometrists as needed. Optometric Technician duties conduct specialized testing, rooming patients, and entering medical information in patient charts. Customer service experience is required. Ideal candidates will be friendly, quick to learn new skills, and able to multitask effectively. This position is full time. Normal hours are 8A-5P with some Tuesday nights until 7P. The position will be primarily in our Essex Junction location but may require occasional coverage in the Burlington location.
