POSITION SUMMARY
We have an opportunity for a new addition to our team. We are looking for a candidate that can bring their passion for helping others, along with professionalism, personable customer service skills and a warm welcoming smile. JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Duties will include greeting and working directly with patients, pretesting and assisting the Dr. You will also learn to answer multi-line phone system, perform contact lens insertion and removal training and general patient flow. Experience not necessary, WILL TRAIN the right candidate. Customer service skills a MUST. Candidate will be required to work Thursday evening until 7:30pm. And 1-2 Saturdays a month from 7:30-12. This position is an excellent opportunity to further your career by learning new skills and working in a fun, team oriented environment. Job responsibilities Assist optometrist with patient care, including performing tests on patients Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits Perform basic medical office tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records Assist with medical coding and billing processes Maintain aseptic technique and infection control measures in the office Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation purposes Provide support to patients
Skills :
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and other healthcare professionals Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic health records Knowledge of medical terminology related to ophthalmology and optometry(Desired but Will train )
