As a trusted leader in eye health and vision correction, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service and a wide selection of eyewear. We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Optician to join our team and help us deliver personalized, top-notch service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with selecting eyewear, including eyeglasses and contact lenses, based on their prescription and personal style preferences.
• Provide expert advice on frame fitting, lens options, and eyewear care.
• Conduct pre-exam tests, such as measuring pupillary distance (PD), vertex distance, and frame fitting.
• Adjust and repair eyeglasses and sunglasses.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring frames and lenses are well-stocked and displayed.
• Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients' visual needs are met.
• Ensure accuracy in prescription interpretation and product dispensing.
• Educate patients on proper lens care, cleaning techniques, and eyewear maintenance.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in eyewear, lenses, and vision correction technologies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; opticianry certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an Optician, with a thorough knowledge of eyeglass frames, lenses, and prescription.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first approach.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to use optical equipment and technology (e.g., lensometers, PD meters).
• Prior experience in sales or retail is a plus.
