Job Description
Must be available Fridays & Saturdays, as well as Monday/Tuesday.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Verify insurance information and collect patient payments
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an optical office or medical receptionist role preferred
- Proficient in using phone systems and computerized scheduling software
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Pay:
$17.00- $35.
