-Builds and maintains knowledge of company hardware, software systems, and applications
- Assist optometrist with patient examinations and procedures
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Assist with frame selection and fitting for eyeglasses
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain inventory of eyewear and contact lenses
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
Responsibilities:
- Executes the service model and provides an appropriate patient experience across all patient interactions
- Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and standards
Experience:
- Previous experience in an optometry or healthcare setting preferred
- Familiarity with selling eyewear and using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of store management principles and practices
- Ability to market products and services to increase sales
- Strong math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and insurance coverage
- Experience in sales management, including negotiating prices and closing sales
- Familiarity with recruiting and training new staff members This position offers a competitive salary based on experience.
