Job Description

Optician / Optician Technician Join Our Optometry Practice! We are a friendly, patient-focused private optometry practice seeking a motivated and personable Optician / Optician Technician to join our team. We take pride in providing exceptional eye care and personalized service in a welcoming family-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping patients look and see their best. We are looking for someone with at least one year of optical experience or previous experience working in an optometry office . We will offer training. Responsibilities Verify vision insurance benefits and eligibility Discuss and quote lens options with patients Assist patients with frame selection and dispensing Take measurements for eyewear orders Perform pre-testing and gather patient information before exams Prepare and set up exam rooms for patient appointments Support daily office operations and provide outstanding customer service Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Perform contact lens training Qualifications Minimum 1 year of optical experience or experience working in an optometry office Strong customer service and communication skills Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude Ability to multitask Attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with insurance verification and optical sales is preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Supportive and positive work environment Opportunity for growth and continued learning Consistent schedule in a privately-owned private practice If you enjoy working with people, have a passion for patient care, and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a welcoming team, we'd love to hear from you.
