EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Our growing, family-oriented practice is looking for an optician to join our amazing team. We are seeking a bright professional with a great attitude, a passion for excellent customer service, and stellar patient care skills, who takes pride in working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. The right applicant will also need to have good organizational skills, work well with other team members, be self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic. Vision One is a well-established private Optometry practice located in downtown Boise that caters to families and professionals. We offer a comfortable workplace setting, where we encourage ongoing training and education, promote success, and welcome staff input and ideas. Pay depends on experience. Primary duties include, but not limited to:
  • Reviewing Physician's prescriptions based on medical charts and educating patients on their corrective lens options.
  • Finding the best frame and lens options to suit each patient's lifestyle, occupational, sport and hobby needs.
  • Dispensing, adjusting, and repairing glasses.
  • Operate manual lensometer and other tools to achieve proper fittings for patients. Duties will expand into other areas of patient care as you grow. Join our team, as we do what we do best
