Experienced Optician Looking Out Vision | Morris, Illinois $19-$25/hour | Full-time preferred; part-time considered Looking Out Vision is growing, and we're looking for an experienced optician to join our team! We are an established, independent optometry practice in downtown Morris with a beautiful, newly renovated office and a strong commitment to providing personalized, compassionate care. We're looking for someone who is confident in optical, enjoys working with patients, and takes pride in helping people find eyewear they truly love. What we're looking for: Previous optician experience Confidence with frame styling and eyewear selection Accurate optical measurements Knowledge of lens options and the ability to make appropriate recommendations Experience adjusting, repairing, and troubleshooting eyewear Ability to review and interpret eyeglass prescriptions Familiarity with vision insurance and optical benefits Excellent communication and customer service skills Dependability, attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude We're looking for someone who can provide knowledgeable guidance while making the eyewear experience comfortable and enjoyable for our patients. Because we are a small, independent practice, we especially value someone who takes ownership of their role, works well independently, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team. Schedule Full-time preferred; part-time candidates will also be considered.

Tuesday-Thursday:

8:30 AM-5:30

PM Friday:

8:30 AM-4:30

PM Some Saturdays:

8:30 AM-12:00 PM No Mondays Compensation $19-$25 per hour , based on experience.
