Job Description

Join Marylands largest family owned eyecare practice. We're looking for opticians to join our growing team of eyewear experts. If you're a detail-oriented optician who is enthusiastic about eyeglasses and loves to work with people, we'd think you'll fit right in at Levin Eye Care! We offer a wide range of eyewear from the finest brands and designers from all across the globe and cater to a diverse patient base with differing visual needs. We're looking for new team members who can help patients choose the eyewear that best meets their needs and preferences from our expansive selection, so our patients won't just see great — they'll look great, too! We especially want to hear from you if you're bilingual in Spanish — while not required, that's a big plus for us!
Responsibilities:
  • Assist within different locations (will aim to keep you in proximity of home, with our 9 optometric locations, we have many locations close to you)
  • Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses based on their prescription and personal preferences
  • Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit and comfort of eyewear
  • Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frame styles to help them make informed decisions
  • Adjust and repair eyewear as needed to ensure optimal fit and function
  • Maintain accurate records of customer prescriptions, orders, and payments
  • Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive eye care services
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology
Experience:
  • ABOC Preferred but not required
  • Previous experience working as an optician or in a related field preferred
High School Diploma or GED Job Type:

$20.00
