CASS is seeking candidates for a full-time Optician (Eyewear Customer Associate) opportunity. Previous optician experience a plus, but our Client is willing to train the right candidate! An outgoing personality, strong organization skills and follow through are great starters for success! As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service assisting patients in choosing the best eyewear to meet their needs.

Responsibilities include:

Assist patients in selecting eyewear frames and lenses and accessories based on their prescription and lifestyle Take accurate measurements of patients' facial features to ensure proper fit and alignment of eyewear Adjust and repair eyewear as needed, ensuring optimal comfort and functionality for patients; assist in lab equipment maintenance Enter orders, create invoices, review insurance information, maintain accurate records of patient information, prescriptions, and orders using electronic systems Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions related to eyewear selection or usage Benefit package offered once the evaluation period requirements have been met. Requirements Two employment references; High school diploma or equivalent; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to educate and sell eyewear and additional eyewear product; Proficient computer skills-ability to learn various programs pertaining to industry; Achieve and maintain ABO certification (Optician's certification) within one year of hire date.
