• Assist patients with frame selection and provide expert advice on various lens types and features.
• Fit and adjust frames for optimal comfort and vision correction.
• Instruct patients on the use and care of contact lenses.
• Verify vision and medical insurance benefits.
• Process payments for services and products.
• Utilize insurance plans to ensure patients receive appropriate coverage for goods and services.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address patient concerns professionally and empathetically.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and patient-focused environment.
• Serve as the primary Optician for our Masonic Home clinic every Wednesday morning.
• Be prepared to fill in at multiple locations as needed. Work Hours
• Monday-Thursday
• Wednesday mornings will primarily be spent supporting our Masonic Home clinic.
• Occasional Saturdays as needed. Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in optical or retail sales preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with practice management software is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and confidently in a clinic setting while maintaining excellent patient care. What We Offer
