If you're passionate about eyewear and love working with people, we'd love to meet you. Position Summary As an Optician, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our patients. From assisting with frame selection to interpreting prescriptions and verifying lens parameters, your skills and personality will contribute directly to a positive patient experience. Primary Responsibilities Greet and assist patients with professionalism and warmth. Help patients select frames that suit their needs, style, and prescriptions. Use a manual lensometer to read and verify prescriptions. Take accurate measurements for eyewear fittings (PD, seg height, etc.). Ensure all eyewear orders meet high quality and accuracy standards. Perform basic repairs and adjustments to frames. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the optical dispensary. Work collaboratively with doctors, staff, and patients in a team-oriented environment. Provide knowledgeable support for lens materials, coatings, and features.
Optional:
Assist with optical billing and vision insurance (helpful but not required). What We're Looking For Minimum of 1-2 years of optical experience. Skilled in using a manual lensometer.
