Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Optician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will combine your expertise in optics, ophthalmology, and retail sales to provide exceptional eye care services and personalized eyewear solutions. Your deep understanding of medical terminology, health regulation policies, and clinical confidentiality will ensure top-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with all relevant state and federal healthcare regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your technical proficiency and compassionate approach will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
Duties:
Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their lifestyle, prescription, and personal style Interpret and fill eyeglass prescriptions accurately Take precise measurements for lenses and frame fittings (PD, segment height, etc.) Adjust, repair, and fit eyeglasses to ensure comfort and optimal vision Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear care Process eyewear orders and coordinate with optical labs Verify insurance benefits and help patients understand their coverage Maintain attractive optical displays and organized inventory Provide exceptional customer service from start to finish
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an optician with a strong background in retail optometry experience and clinic settings. ABO certification (preferred but not required) Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.

Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
