Optician Receptionist Job Summary:

Are you ready to join a dynamic team at Paul Vision Institute? We're seeking an energetic and personable individual to fill the role of an Optician Receptionist. In this position, you'll be the face of our practice—assisting patients with frame selection, processing eyewear orders, making adjustments, scheduling appointments, and delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional, and caring demeanor.

What You'll Do:

Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames that suit their style, prescription, and budget Process optical orders, verify prescriptions, and ensure accuracy with lab follow-through Make basic frame adjustments and minor repairs for proper fit and comfort Maintain accurate patient and order records using practice management software Schedule appointments and manage front desk duties with efficiency and warmth Provide support for the optical and administrative team as needed Ensure a clean and organized optical showroom and reception area

A positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an optical or retail setting Excellent time management and communication skills A willingness to learn and grow within a successful, supportive eye care practice Comfort with multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

Prior optical experience preferred, including knowledge of frame styling and lens types Familiarity with eyewear fitting, basic adjustments, and prescription verification Strong computer skills and experience with scheduling or practice software
