Central Eyes Optometry provides vision and medical eye care. We are proud to be a 5 star clinic that offers excellent service and care to our patients. We are looking for motivated teammates to help our optometry clinic continue to grow as we serve the people of Grants Pass and Josephine County. We are a small, privately owned optometry clinic with a boutique optical as well as a medical dry eye spa. You don't need any eye care experience, but must absolutely love working with people and be genuinely positive and enthusiastic. We will train the necessary eye care skills. We are looking for a warm, engaging and friendly person with attention to detail. You must be willing to work in a professional environment, have excellent communication skills, and basic computer skills. Common Job Duties:

Working on electronic health records. Scheduling patient appointments. Verifying insurance Communicating with patients on the phone Greeting patients and helping them get checked in to see the doctors Entering sales/completing transactions Assist patients with frame selection and provide guidance on lens options based on their prescription, lifestyle, and needs. Measure and take basic optical measurements, prepare eyewear orders, and assist with dispensing and adjusting glasses. Educate patients on lens treatments, coatings, and eyewear options. Assist with optical inventory, frame organization, and maintaining an attractive, organized optical.

Must Have:

A positive attitude and enjoy working with a team and people. If you're motivated by helping others, love to work in an environment that fosters positive patient experience and love to learn, you'll do great! Preferred, but not required: Previous work in optometry, reception or customer service. Starting pay $16.50, no experience. Negotiable with experience.
