We are looking for a warm, dependable, and service-minded person to join our optical team as a full-time Optician / Eyewear Stylist . Our optical team helps patients find eyewear they genuinely love while making sure it fits their vision needs, lifestyle, prescription, and personal style. This position combines customer service, eyewear styling, problem-solving, attention to detail, and technical optical skills. Previous optical or medical experience is welcome, but it is not required . We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic, personality, and desire to learn. Candidates with experience in hospitality, boutique retail, customer service, or consultative sales may be especially well suited for this position. What You'll Do Help patients select eyewear based on fit, style, prescription, lifestyle, and personal preferences Educate patients about frame and lens options Clearly communicate vision insurance benefits and out-of-pocket costs to patients at the point of sale Learn to take accurate optical measurements and place eyewear orders Adjust, fit, and dispense glasses Assist patients with follow-up needs, repairs, adjustments, and questions Maintain an organized, attractive, and welcoming optical environment Work closely with our doctors and patient-care team Help create an exceptional experience for our patients You May Be a Great Fit If You Are Warm, friendly, and comfortable interacting with people Dependable and committed to excellence Detail-oriented and organized Able to multitask and remain calm when the office gets busy Confident helping people make purchasing decisions without using high-pressure sales tactics Coachable and interested in learning new skills A strong communicator and positive teammate Someone who takes ownership of their work and follows through Why Owen Eye Care?
