We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and hardworking. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assisting patients with the examination and treatment of their eyes, including the assessment of visual function and the need for correction or further testing. Performing ophthalmic procedures (ultrasonography, photography, visual field analyzer, tonometry and contact lens fittings). Assisting patients with optical tasks (lensometry, ordering and dispensing of contacts and glasses) Performing administrative tasks (i.e., filing documents, answering telephones).
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous optical experience, though not required, is desirable.
