  • Greet our patients and customers as they enter the store, identify patients' needs to ensure an easy and memorable experience while providing promotional products and services available
  • Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription and personal preferences
  • Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyewear
  • Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
  • Adjust and repair eyeglasses as needed
  • Assist with frame selection and styling to meet customer's needs and preferences
  • Maintain inventory of eyewear and order new stock as needed
  • Schedule appointments and manage customer records in the optical systems ```Skills```
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, specifically related to the eyes and visual system
  • Familiarity with medical billing processes for insurance claims related to vision care services
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for patients
  • Ability to perform basic vital signs measurements, such as visual acuity testing
  • Knowledge of senior care considerations when working with older patients
