Do you take great pride in making sure that every patient needing glasses has been taken care of to the best of your ability? When inspecting glasses orders that anything with your name on it would be held to the best quality available for each patient? If so, you may be the Optician we are looking for! We have a simple hiring philosophy: Hire people who work hard, are intelligent, love learning new things, and who we enjoy working with. Our ideal employee is someone who is a good conversationalist with a pleasant disposition, outgoing, well read, and a team player! Your duties as an Optician would include but aren't limited to:
  • Greeting patients and providing the best in customer service
  • Understanding insurance benefits
  • Optical sales (frame styling) and dispensing
  • Adjusting glasses
  • Processing orders
  • Using electronic records to maintain detailed patient records
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of optometry/optical experience but not required (willing to train the right candidate)
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Desire to excel and grow with our practice The positions available would be full time.
We are currently open the first and second Saturday of the month. We do rotate with our optical team. Hourly compensation is dependent on experience and qualifications. Eligible for benefits to include PTO, paid holidays, Simple
IRA, AFLAC.
