Job Description

Do you love helping people see better and finding just the right styles to match their needs? We are looking for a frame stylist to help our growing and thriving practice. We are looking for people that love to help customers and work with an awesome team. Some of the job duties include advising patients on the different benefits of each lens option, selecting just the right frame, keeping our frame displays clean and looking great, helping with inventory, working in our in-house optical lab and helping customers with their insurance. Job Responsibilities Using prescription information from the doctor and the patient's preferences, face shape and other factors to help select the appropriate pair of eyeglasses, frames and lenses. Give product recommendations to patients based on their vision needs and lifestyle, such as frame construction, lens material and lens coatings. Take accurate measurements of each patient's face and optical details to ensure a comfortable and proper fit before ordering frames. Adjust new frames using optical tools or pliers to get a closer and more accurate fit on the patient's face when the patient has problems with comfort or poor vision. Maintain a clean and visually appealing daily optical display by organizing the stock of eyeglasses, sunglasses and accessories. Working in the optical lab to cut, polish, and grind lenses for prescription glasses. Complete additional office tasks regularly such as preparing paperwork for patient insurance payments, ordering inventory and tracking orders in the system. Tracking metrics and optimizing sales Basic computer skills are required. Such as using email, basic MS Office (Excel, MS Word), logging into insurance websites to retrieve eligibility/coverage, etc.
