NOW HIRING
Optician & Front Office Coordinator (Bellingham, WA) Eyes Rite Optical is seeking a self-motivated professional to lead our friendly, solo-doctor practice and manage our optical boutique! If you are an experienced optician, have optical industry experience, or are currently working toward your license, we invite you to apply today.
PAY:
$24.00+ per hour (Based on experience)
HOURS:
Full-Time
SCHEDULE
Day Shift, Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Enjoy your weekends off!)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Optical Boutique:
Manage boutique operations, style patients with frames, provide lens education, take precise measurements, and expertly fit/adjust eyewear.
Inventory & Vendors:
Curate frame board selections, build vendor relationships, and drive optical sales.
Office Coordination:
Warmly greet patients, manage schedules, handle phone calls, verify vision/medical insurance, and process claims.
Practice Environment:
Maintain a clean, welcoming atmosphere focused on patient care with zero high-pressure sales.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
In-depth knowledge of optical lenses, frames, and insurance processing. Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and computer skills, with excellent attention to detail. Strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Preferred:
1-5 years of optical experience (ABO-NCLE certification is a plus, but not required).
LOCATION
In-person in Bellingham, WA.
Pay:
From $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 36.0 per week
