This is an exceptional opportunity for an Optometrist who enjoys comprehensive optometry, cataract, glaucoma, medical ophthalmology, ocular disease, corneal disease, specialty contact lenses, and postoperative care, and who wants to work closely with an experienced cornea, cataract, and glaucoma surgeon. The position offers a unique combination of bread-and-butter optometry and advanced medical eye care. You will provide routine comprehensive eye care while also evaluating and managing patients with cataracts, glaucoma, corneal disease, ocular infections, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and other medical eye conditions. Cataract & Glaucoma:

Evaluate, diagnose, manage, and provide pre- and postoperative care

Ocular & Corneal Disease:

Diagnose and manage glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, dry eye, keratoconus, corneal ulcers, infections, and other ocular conditions

Scleral Lenses:

Provide advanced specialty contact lens care, including fitting and ongoing management Provide postoperative care following cataract, glaucoma, corneal, refractive, and other ophthalmic procedures Provide myopia management and pediatric eye care as appropriate Educate patients, coordinate care with the ophthalmologist, and maintain accurate clinical documentation Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree required Active Florida Optometry License required or ability to obtain Strong clinical skills in medical optometry and ocular disease management Strong interest in cataract, glaucoma, and corneal disease Experience with scleral lenses, keratoconus, corneal disease, or ocular surface disease preferred Experience with myopia management or pediatric optometry is a plus Spanish-speaking skills are a plus Optical sales experience is preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $140,000-$180,000 plus productivity-based incentive compensation, commensurate with experience and clinical expertise Health insurance Dental insurance Life insurance 401(k) with employer matching Retirement plan Professional growth and advancement opportunities Join Our Team If you are an Optometrist looking for an opportunity to combine comprehensive optometry with cataract, glaucoma, medical, and corneal eye care, while working alongside an experienced cornea, cataract, and glaucoma surgeon, we would love to hear from you.
