The Eye Clinic of Florida in Zephyrhills, FL seeks a Florida Licensed Optometrist for a part time 8-5 position. No Weekend Clinics.

The job is mix of:

1/3 Routine Eye Exams and Contact Lens Fittings 1/3 Medical Visit--usually stable glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, etc 1/3 Post op- Cataract and Yag Capsulotomy patients. We use electronic medical records so candidates must be fast two handed typists. Our patients are nice. Our staff is amazing. We don't upsell the unnecessary. However, over 95% of our post op cataract patients have less than .5D of sphere or cylinder. We do focus on the very best in outcome and experience for our patients. We take very few of the poorly paying vision plans. We don't take Medicaid. We don't deal with the worst of the Dis-Advantage plans.
