Experienced OD's and recent graduates welcome. Our small, fast‑paced family practice is seeking a caring and skilled Optometrist committed to exceptional patient care. You'll provide full‑scope optometry services for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, while helping maintain the friendly, community‑focused atmosphere our families love. Strong clinical judgment, efficiency, and compassion are essential. Key Responsibilities Eye exams — Perform comprehensive visual and ocular health evaluations. Disease management — Diagnose and treat refractive errors, glaucoma, and common eye conditions. Lens prescribing — Fit and prescribe glasses and contact lenses. Patient education — Communicate clearly about eye health, treatment plans, and preventive care. EMR documentation — Maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA. Clinical safety — Use proper aseptic techniques and ensure patient safety. Requirements Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and active state licensure. Strong knowledge of ophthalmology , anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience with pediatric care and optical devices. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and medical coding. Excellent communication skills and a patient‑centered approach.
