This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced provider seeking a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with no call, weekends, or holiday coverage.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30

PM No Call No Weekends No Federal Holiday Coverage Long-Term Assignment:

Base year with two option years available Supportive multidisciplinary team Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye examinations and refractions Diagnose and manage ocular diseases, visual disorders, and eye injuries Prescribe corrective lenses and therapeutic medications within scope of licensure Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including: Visual Fields Fundus Photography Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) Document patient encounters in the IHS electronic medical record (RPMS) Educate patients on preventive eye health and treatment plans Coordinate care with primary care providers and specialists Participate in quality improvement and vision health initiatives as needed Requirements Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program Active, unrestricted Optometry license in any U.S. state or territory Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification Two (2) years of recent clinical experience preferred Why Work with Emdego?
