Job Description

Virginia Eye Specialists P.C is looking for a compassionate and full scope Optometrist to join our private Ophthalmology practice in Colonial Heights, VA. Whether you want part time or full time options are available. We are a well-established, full scope eyecare practice that has been serving the area for over 25 years. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a classic, efficiently run office. You will be supported by a wonderful team allowing you to focus on what matters most: providing outstanding clinical care. Position Overview This is a full scope, relationship-focused opportunity where quality patient care is the top priority. We are open Monday thru Friday, with no weekends! Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams, including refractions for glasses ,ocular health evaluations,and vision assessments for all patients, as well as conduct contact lens fittings,evaluations
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plan, including prescribing therapeutic medications when appropriate
  • Utilize diagnostic technology such as OCT,retinal imaging, visual fields, and tonometry to detect and monitor eye conditions
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records using an EMR system
  • Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, and diabetic eye disease Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution Active Virginia Optometry License Strong clinical skills in comprehensive and medical eye care Commitment to patient care and clinical excellence Team-oriented, professional and dependable Salary is
