Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist (CPO/CP)

Alexandria, LA Job Type:
Full-Time Setting:
Mobile/Home-Based Position Summary We are seeking a CPO, CP, or Board-Eligible Orthotist/Prosthetist to provide comprehensive O&P services in a combination of clinic and mobile settings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable traveling to patients' homes, nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and other community locations. Schedule Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM No on-call or weekend requirements Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans Perform measurements, casting, fitting, alignment, and adjustments Select, customize, and deliver orthotic/prosthetic devices Provide follow-up care and patient education Maintain accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, therapists, technicians, and other staff Conduct mobile/home-based patient visits Monitor patient outcomes and maintain regulatory compliance
Qualifications Required:
CPO, CP, or Board Eligible through ABC, BOC, or equivalent Bachelor's or Master's degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics or qualifying field Louisiana license or eligibility for licensure Strong clinical assessment, fitting, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and patient-education skills Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload Willingness to travel to patients' homes and community locations
