Job Description
Franciscan Health Crown Point 12750 S Francis Dr Crown Point, Indiana 46307 At Franciscan Health, The Critical Care Transport Paramedic is responsible to provide direct patient care to patients, requiring interfacility transport from primary or critical access hospitals to tertiary care hospitals, and providing urgent procedures or admission to intensive care centers. In this role you will grow your skills while participating in trainings, clinical rotations, and all education needed .

Responsible for assigned ambulance, equipment, and supplies during a shift, as well as security of all equipment and supplies, including but not limited to scheduled and non-scheduled medications. Perform Basic and Advanced Life Support pre-hospital assessment and care. Perform tasks in the pre-hospital setting under the control of the Medical Director. Provide orderly transfer of patient care to receiving facility staff. Assist with the management of the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) program. Communicate and act as a liaison between the patient, family physician, and other agencies, as required.AMBULANCE TRANSPORT PARAMEDIC
- 8AM•8PM Available Shifts Full time PRN (as needed)
QUALIFICATIONS
Required High School Diploma/GED- Required 3 years Operation of a motor vehicle Required Licensed Paramedic (PARA)
- State Licensing Board
- Required Drivers License
- Required Basic Life Support Program (BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- American Heart Association
- Required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- American Heart Association Critical Care Transfer Paramedic
- Indiana CCT-P or FP-C Certified
- Preferred
