•This position is based in Wytheville, VA. Responsibilities Administer emergency medical care, including respiratory, trauma, and cardiac interventions, and conduct patient assessments (ex: drug screenings, BATs). Perform record-keeping, filing, and data entry as required, excluding treatment-related records. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards. Provide information on medical treatments and procedures, promoting a culture of health and safety. Measure vital signs and collect specimens Document all patient interactions and care provided. Monitor worker health and manage preventative care on-site. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency response procedures. Maintain readiness for on-site incidents. Requirements Must be able to work 50-60 hours per week. Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts (M-F, occasional weekends) Must be able to work 8 week/1 week rotation - work 8 weeks and rotate home for 1 week Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift. Ability to climb without difficulty. Ability to frequently stand, walk, handle or feel objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in small spaces. Ability to talk, hear, and taste/smell while performing job duties. Must have a favorable driving record for the past 5 years. Must pass detailed Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks. Ability to work independently in remote or isolated locations. Must have strong team collaboration skills. Knowledge of industry-specific safety procedures (ex: construction). Skills and Experience Strong critical thinking and decision-making in high-pressure situations. Skilled in administering emergency care (CPR, trauma management, etc.). Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, local/state regulations). Proficient in medical record-keeping and reporting. Excellent communication skills for interacting with workers and management. Physical stamina to lift, assist, and manage patients. Ability to remain calm and professional under stress. Compensation Transparency The hourly pay rate for this position is $27 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for per diem.
