We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in critical care transport and a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and medical procedures. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients in various settings, including those requiring transport to a Level II Trauma Center. Responsibilities Provide advanced life support and emergency medical care to patients in pre-hospital settings. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses. Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques. Perform venipuncture for blood draws and intravenous access. Operate emergency vehicles safely while responding to calls for assistance. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals during critical care transport. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided. Ensure all medical equipment and supplies are properly stocked and maintained. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in emergency medicine. Requirements Valid Paramedic certification and state licensure. Experience administering injections and performing venipuncture. Strong knowledge of anatomy, patient assessment techniques, and critical care protocols. Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) used in patient transport. Ability to drive emergency vehicles under various conditions while maintaining safety protocols. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred but not required. Commitment to providing compassionate patient care in all situations.
