Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Schedule:
10am-6pm- City Ambulance Service is seeking an EMS Liaison responsible for supporting our partnered hospital in providing support through professional, friendly, and accurate phone interactions and arranging of emergent and non-emergent ambulance transports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a part of a 24/7 operation
- EMS Liaison will actively work to improve collaboration, integration, and coordination with area EMS services
- Serve as a Liaison between the Hospital and City Ambulance on issues related to EMS and Hospital operations
- Actively participate in internal and external meetings related to advancement of City Ambulance service line
- Manage and grow business relationships with the assigned hospital
- Assist the Hospital with administrative functions: Affiliation Agreement management and coordination EMS Care investigations EMS Medical Director/Service/Provider relationships and patient reporting Coordinate EMS educational classes for hospital staff
- Builds relationships with clients and field personnel
- Assist marketing team as needed Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Commitment to teamwork and assisting colleagues in achieving company goals
- Ability to think independently, to find creative solutions
- Confident phone presence
- Map reading skills, including online mapping programs
- General geographic knowledge of Houston and surrounding cities
Education:
High School or equivalent (Required)Experience:
- Customer service: 3 years (Preferred) EMT-License is required
