Responsibilities include:

Provide BLS and ALS care within your Virginia scope of practice during interfacility and specialty-care transports Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring Establish IV/IO access and administer medications within your certification level and applicable protocols Provide airway management and respiratory support as indicated Utilize cardiac monitoring and 12-lead ECG acquisition and interpretation as appropriate to certification level Collaborate with physicians, nurses, EMS providers, and other healthcare professionals to maintain continuity of care Complete accurate and timely electronic patient care documentation using TraumaSoft Participate in special-event medical coverage and contracted 911 responses from healthcare facilities Maintain ambulances, medications, supplies, and medical equipment in a state of readiness Deliver compassionate, professional patient care while representing Angel Rides with integrity Why Angel Rides? Previous EMS, interfacility transport, or critical-care experience is preferred, but motivated providers who are ready to learn and grow are encouraged to apply.
