Duties Respond swiftly to emergency calls, providing advanced life support and critical care interventions on scene and during transport Operate emergency vehicles safely through city streets and rural areas, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and trauma evaluations Manage airway control, ventilation support, and cardiovascular emergencies using specialized equipment and techniques Administer medications via injection or other routes in accordance with medical protocols and physician orders Utilize advanced medical equipment such as DME (Durable Medical Equipment), monitors, and ventilators to stabilize patients Coordinate with incident command teams and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient handoff and continuity of care during transfers Conduct pediatric emergency care, neonatal resuscitation procedures, and trauma medicine with precision and confidence Maintain accurate documentation of patient condition, treatments administered, and transport details for legal and medical records Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology understanding, and aseptic techniques to uphold high standards of patient safety Skills Critical care experience combined with extensive hospital exposure in emergency room or trauma center settings Strong background in triage procedures, trauma care, and cardiovascular emergency response Proven ability to perform patient transport safely while managing complex medical conditions under pressure Expertise in airway management techniques including intubation and ventilation support Knowledge of pediatric emergency protocols, neonatal resuscitation procedures, and urgent care practices Skilled in medication administration, venipuncture, injection techniques, and physical examinations Familiarity with emergency medicine principles, incident command systems, and heavy lifting requirements for patient handling Excellent understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and trauma medicine fundamentals Ability to navigate city streets efficiently while maintaining focus on patient safety during urgent responses Strong communication skills for clear coordination with team members and hospital personnel This role is ideal for dedicated healthcare professionals eager to apply their skills in a fast-paced environment where every second counts.
