Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly qualified Ambulance Paramedic to join our dynamic emergency response team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in critical care, hospital settings, and emergency medical services. As an Ambulance Paramedic, you will provide urgent pre-hospital care, ensure patient safety during transport, and collaborate effectively with medical teams to deliver exceptional emergency medical response. Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing advanced life support and critical care interventions in diverse environments. Assess patient conditions through comprehensive physical examinations and vital signs monitoring to determine appropriate treatment priorities. Manage airway techniques, including airway management and ventilation support, to stabilize patients with respiratory emergencies. Administer medications and injections following established protocols, ensuring precise dosages and aseptic techniques. Operate emergency vehicles safely while navigating city streets efficiently during urgent situations. Perform patient transport with a focus on comfort, safety, and adherence to trauma care standards. Utilize medical equipment such as DME (Durable Medical Equipment), monitors, and trauma supplies effectively during emergency responses. Maintain detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatments administered, and incident reports in compliance with healthcare regulations. Requirements Valid certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or higher-level credential such as Paramedic license. Proven experience in critical care environments, hospital settings, or trauma centers—preferably Level I or Level II trauma centers. Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, trauma medicine, cardiovascular emergencies, and pediatric emergency care. Demonstrated proficiency in medical terminology, venipuncture, medication administration, and incident command procedures. Strong skills in patient assessment, airway management, vital signs monitoring, and trauma care techniques. Ability to operate emergency vehicles responsibly while navigating complex city streets under pressure. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or movement during emergencies. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, team members, and other healthcare providers. $1,600.00 - $2,002.00 per week
