•Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and applicable terms. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Paramedic (EMT-P) for a 13-week contract assignment in Sundance, Wyoming. The Paramedic will provide advanced life support (ALS), emergency medical care, patient assessment, treatment, and safe transportation while working within established EMS protocols and state regulations. This position is ideal for experienced Paramedics who are confident making critical decisions in emergency situations and committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Schedule 24-Hour Rotating Schedule One 24-hour shift One day off One 24-hour shift Five consecutive days off Approximately every 6th and 8th week, the schedule includes a shortened week with only one 24-hour shift. Designated rest period During the overnight rest period, the Paramedic must remain available to respond immediately to emergency requests received through 911 or the hospital. A designated rest area is provided adjacent to the hospital. There are no scheduled on-call requirements. Additional shifts may be available for those interested in working beyond their regular rotation. Responsibilities Respond to emergency medical calls and provide Advanced Life Support (ALS). Assess patients, determine appropriate treatment, and provide emergency medical care. Operate and maintain ambulances in accordance with Wyoming state regulations and EMS policies. Safely transport patients while monitoring their condition. Administer medications and treatments within the Paramedic scope of practice. Perform airway management, cardiac care, trauma care, and other emergency interventions. Maintain accurate and complete patient care documentation. Inspect, clean, and restock ambulances and medical equipment. Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and emergency response personnel. Follow established EMS protocols, infection control standards, and safety procedures. Recognize limitations and request assistance when necessary to ensure safe patient care. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet all of the following requirements: Current National Registry Paramedic (NRP/EMT-P) certification with Compact eligibility OR a current Wyoming EMS Paramedic License Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Ability to obtain
ICS 100, ICS
