Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Manager of Memory and Cognitive Disorders Program oversees the clinical services and staff in the Memory and Cognitive Disorders Program, and its associates. This role works collaboratively with the department Director to oversee the patient care, operational budget, patient volume, strategic growth, and regulatory compliance. This role engages staff, manages staff performance and development, and serves as a clinical educator. The manager leads continuous quality improvement initiatives and ensures high quality patient care and patient satisfaction. Participates in developing and modifying policies, procedures, and protocols as needed. Responsible for daily productivity management and onboarding new staff. The manager enhances the patient experience through coordination of care across the continuum and links patients to appropriate services. In addition to the above, this position is also responsible for providing patient care in the role of a clinical nurse navigator. The nurse navigator is a registered nurse responsible for the seamless coordination of care with complex, integration sensitive diagnoses. The Navigator coordinates care in conjunction with the physicians from time of diagnosis or admission through discharge or up to end of life. May assume other nurse navigator responsibilities and other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Five years' experience in an acute hospital or healthcare environment required. Minimum of 1 year experience in Neurology preferred. Master's degree in the Neurosciences field preferred.
