Job Description

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
(include but are not limited to): Ensuring proper record maintenance including collecting allergies, contact information, and payment methods Handle inbound calls concerning prescription inquiries and/or triage to the appropriate departments as needed Conducting outbound calls such as welcome calls, refill scheduling calls and physician office follow up calls Perform benefit investigations and coordination of benefits Coordinating timely and accurate medication delivery with members and providers Using operating systems and other tools to assist in managing medication adherence /reimbursement services Directing all clinical inquiries and clinical concerns to a pharmacist Act as a liaison with various channels of healthcare to provide timely access of medication to the patient Maintain patient/member confidentiality and HIPPA compliance at all times
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED is required Florida or Georgia Pharmacy Technician Registration is required Excellent communication skills Basic computation skills Strong knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology Knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service setting or minimum of 1 year in a specialty pharmacy setting Spanish speaking preferred
