33872 Helps patients access necessary healthcare services and resources, including financial assistance and community support. Mediates and resolves conflicts between patients and healthcare providers or institutions. Collects and documents patient complaints and grievances, following up to ensure resolution. Collaborates with healthcare teams to improve patient care and satisfaction. Advocates for patient safety and quality care, identifying and addressing potential issues. Participates in performance improvement initiatives and policy development to enhance patient advocacy services. Provides emotional support and empathy to patients and families during difficult times. Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical standards in all interactions. Provides support and guidance to patients and their families, helping them navigate the healthcare system. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure patient needs and concerns are addressed. Educates patients about their rights and responsibilities within the healthcare system. Assists patients in understanding their medical conditions, treatment options, and care plans. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English. Good oral communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent organization and people skills. Education:

Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
