Job Description

Company Overview River Valley Health (RVH) is a Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to the community. Serving approximately 70,000 patients annually, RVH is committed to ensuring equitable access to comprehensive health and wellness resources for all residents. Job Overview The Digital Literacy Coach supports patients in understanding and utilizing digital healthcare tools and services. This role serves as a bridge between patients and technology by providing education, outreach, and guidance to improve access to care, increase patient engagement, and enhance the overall healthcare experience.

•This is a temporary part-time position for 16 weeks. Duties Educate patients on digital healthcare systems, patient portals, and other technology-related resources available through the organization. Provide one-on-one support to help patients navigate and effectively use digital tools for healthcare services. Conduct outreach to patients who have not been seen recently to re-engage them in care and communicate updates regarding organizational systems, services, and processes. Prepare patients for upcoming appointments by ensuring they understand appointment requirements Assist patients with creating, accessing, and maintaining digital accounts necessary for healthcare services. Identify barriers to technology access and digital literacy and provide appropriate coaching, resources, and support. Document patient interactions and outreach efforts in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to promote patient engagement and improve adoption of digital health tools. Provide feedback regarding patient experiences and opportunities to enhance digital access and utilization. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual skills preferred. Ability to explain technology concepts in a simple, patient-friendly manner. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with common digital platforms. Ability to work independently and manage multiple outreach activities. eCW experience preferred

•This is a temporary part-time position for 16 weeks.

Pay:

$14.00 per hour
