Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse licensure Minimum of 2 years of recent CVICU nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid) Proficient in cardiovascular patient assessment, monitoring, and interventions Strong communication and critical thinking skills Experience with multidisciplinary care teams preferred
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-level care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery, heart failure, and other complex cardiovascular conditions Monitor hemodynamic status and respond swiftly to changes Administer cardiac medications and manage life-support equipment (e.g., ventilators, invasive monitoring devices) Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied health staff to optimize outcomes Educate patients and their families on treatments and recovery Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold rigorous safety standards
