Madera Community Hospital Located in the heart of Central California, Madera Community Hospital is a General Acute Care, private, not-for-profit hospital dedicated to improving and maintaining the health and wellness of residents throughout the Central Valley. Position Summary:
The transport orderly will provide transport and delivery services within the hospital departments using wheelchairs, gurneys, and other appropriate equipment. Transports patients with
IVACS, O
₂ , chest tubes, etc. Utilizes basic knowledge of body mechanics, transfer techniques, asepsis, and CPR. Per Diem Position, Varied Shifts including Weekends and Holidays.
Qualifications:
Prefer High School graduate or equivalent, with some college level education including Office Technology course. Prefer Patient Care or Healthcare Background or previous transport orderly experience, with Clerical, Computer / Software knowledge. Must possess proven positive oral and written communication skills as well as positive guest relations skills. Require Current American Heart Association BCLS certificate.
