Job Description
Patient Transporter Duties:
- Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from various appointments
- Assist patients at their appointment locations with paperwork as needed
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during transportation
- Communicate with office staff to coordinate patient transport schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Provide basic life support as needed during patient transport
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
