PATIENT TRANSPORTER / DRIVER

will be responsible for driving a non-commercial company truck to Hospitals around LA County and Orange County hauling a generator and assisting with the safe transportation of patients from the hospital bed to the gurney, our company scanning area and back to the hospital. Assisting with both patient care transportation and driving are essential functions of this position. Proper individual must be physically capable of assisting with pulling, lifting, and sliding patients while following hospital requests and ensuring the safety of patients at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the transportation of patients from the hospital to the trailer and back;
• Driving a company tuck pulling a generator;
• Conduct safe driving and follow internal protocols based on hospital requirements;
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen;
• Must be able to provide friendly professional service to hospital staff and patients
• Must comply with hospital requirements as well as company requirements
• Must possess excellent communication skills with company dispatch and follow instructions as provided.

Full Time - 8hr shifts / 4 days a week - Monday to Thursday mornings This position will be required to work overtime as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a good driving record. No DUI in the last 7 years. Consistent work
