Shift:
Day Shift Description:
This is a full-time position; the shift is an 8-hour shift; alternating weekends are required.
What you will do:
Demonstrate skills and knowledge necessary to assure assessment, and care are appropriate to the age of patients served. Care provided is appropriate for all patients including neonates, pediatrics, adults, or geriatrics. Transport patients, equipment, and/or supplies to and from various departments in the hospital. Utilize several modes of transportation and handles various types of patient equipment. Promote patient safety and a safe environment at all times. Perform other job-related duties within the job scope as requested by the supervisor or a dispatcher. Maintain open lines of communication at all times. Maintain documentation of all transportation activities and submits to Dispatcher at end of shift. Ensure Equipment storage areas are kept neat and orderly. Assist in equipment maintenance.
Education& Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED Good verbal communication skills BLS (Basic Life Support) card from the American Heart Association (prior to hire)​
