Job Summary and Qualifications Position Summary:

Provides patient transportation for all sections of Imaging Services, Cardiovascular Services and throughout the facility.

Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrates the ability to adapt technique/treatment to age of population served, including newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, while providing care/service with respect to cultural differences and spiritual needs. Moves and lifts patients, managing any portable equipment that must be transported with the patient. Assists with transfer to and from wheelchair, cart and bed as needed. Transports patients to and from various areas of the hospital to imaging services. Transports patients throughout facility as directed. Assists patients with dressings. Checks patients in an out of nursing units. Monitors transportation equipment for daily use. Prepares carts with clean linen after each use. Maintains cleanliness of all transportation equipment. Establishes and maintains effective and respectful communication in development of all collaborative relationships. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
